Job Description

EssentialDuties/Responsibilities (may include, but are not limited to):

  • Responsible for ensuring personnel has the physical space and system support to accomplish their assigned tasks. This includes seating, IT system, HVAC, and phone support.

  • Will serve as the facility owner position with respect to supporting the de-manning efforts for the ROH and building turnover at the completion of NNS need for the space

  • Making sure maintenance and certification of building systems and infrastructure for owned and leased facilities

  • Scheduling seating modifications at the site to include all support groups

  • Able to communicate needs and gain concurrence on seating schedules

  • Schedule maintenance or services in support of facilities

  • Ensuring infrastructure is in place regarding building systems to include power, water, HVAC, computer networks, phone services

  • Ensure services are provided for waste removal, vehicle maintenance, equipment leasing, structure leasing.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of fundamental principles, concepts and techniques in engineering with knowledge of environmental regulations.

  • Current active DOD/DOE Security clearance required

  • Must be a US citizen.

  • Skill and ability to perform moderately complex professional tasks under general supervision and guidance

  • Ability to organize own work independently in order to meet established objectives, using discretion in performing duties

  • Level of language skills, mathematical skills, communication skills, reasoning ability and computer skills necessary to perform essential functions of the job

Job Requirements

Education and Experience Required:

Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical, manufacturing or structural engineering from an ABET Accredited college or university, with at least 4 years of experience.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements (Light Work):

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.

Light Work Category - Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for sedentary work. The employee exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
