Preferred Qualifications:

This positions reports to the NNS KSO Program Manager and major responsibilities will include:

• Assist with setup and rollout of Program Office capabilities prioritized by leadership, based on industry standard best practices

• Tracking status of project deliverables and milestones based on information provided throughout the program

• Coordination of the regular project, program, and corporate level reporting

• Partners with managers to identify metrics that can be used to benchmark, analyze, and report

• Consolidation and analysis of the data collected from project status information, comparing results with baseline and communicating status to management for review

• Initiates, coordinates, and finalizes, and controls Programmatic procurements internally within the program and externally with the customer and the corporate procurement office

• Gathers and analyzes data necessary to support planning

• Proactively identifies opportunities to improve data strategy and data usage

• Implementing, administering and updating Program Office capability areas based on stakeholder feedback

• Prepare for, facilitate, and follow-up as needed for all Program Office meetings (one-on-one meetings, bi-weekly status, multi-business unit, etc.)

• Enable site knowledge management, and maintain user configuration/access permissions on the Program collaboration site

• Maintaining governance standards and reporting inconsistencies to Program Manager for resolution

• Coordination of project level risk, issue, action items, and decisions; regular follow-up on open items

• Document standard operating procedures for Program Office processes

• Research into and contribute towards new Program Office capabilities

• Work with the Finance team to develop Program and project information to be utilized in decision making, meetings, and reports

• Ability to work under tight deadlines balancing multiple competing priorities

• Three or more years of working on projects within the DoD or Federal government

• Three or more years of experience managing projects or managing substantial parts of the project lifecycle

• Knowledge of project management tools and techniques

• Ability to quickly consume information paired with strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Strong communications skills, both written and verbal, are required

• Business-level knowledge and experience with Microsoft products- Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access, and Word

• A strong customer-centric approach is required

• Skilled at managing stakeholder groups and balancing diplomacy and tact with assertiveness

• Demonstrate professionalism and a positive work ethic in all situations with clients, vendors and coworkers
