Salary Range:



  • Design responsibilities, engineering calculations, studies, detailed design, report writing, field investigations and assist lower level engineers

  • Interact with Project Managers, other engineers, and directs designers and drafters to ensure project completion

  • Responsible for the technical content and quality of the work, and adherence to schedules and budgets for the assigned task or project

  • Selects and apply engineering principles and concepts in engineering discipline with some working knowledge of other related disciplines

  • Responsible for reporting on work progress

  • Provides input to the Project Execution Plan

  • Performs most tasks with minimal supervision

  • Regular interaction with clients, vendors and contractors

  • Responsible for following corporate safety protocols

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to work without direction on all areas of pipeline design tasks such as pipeline routing, alignment sheet development, HDD design, road crossings, temporary work space, plats/sketches/deeds, non-environmental permitting, hydrostatic tests, etc.

  • Good knowledge of DOT 192 (ASME B31.8) and 195 (ASME B31.4)

  • Familiarity with both CAD Mapping and GIS Mapping a plus but not required

  • FERC experience a plus but not required.

  • CO2 experience a plus but not required.

  • Pipeline conversion in service experience a plus but required


  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited college/university required

  • FE (EIT) is preferred

  • Five plus years pipeline engineering experience

  • PE preferred

  • Ability to work with engineering software packages a plus

  • Microsoft Office experience required
