Design responsibilities, engineering calculations, studies, detailed design, report writing, field investigations and assist lower level engineers
Interact with Project Managers, other engineers, and directs designers and drafters to ensure project completion
Responsible for the technical content and quality of the work, and adherence to schedules and budgets for the assigned task or project
Selects and apply engineering principles and concepts in engineering discipline with some working knowledge of other related disciplines
Responsible for reporting on work progress
Provides input to the Project Execution Plan
Performs most tasks with minimal supervision
Regular interaction with clients, vendors and contractors
Responsible for following corporate safety protocols
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to work without direction on all areas of pipeline design tasks such as pipeline routing, alignment sheet development, HDD design, road crossings, temporary work space, plats/sketches/deeds, non-environmental permitting, hydrostatic tests, etc.
Good knowledge of DOT 192 (ASME B31.8) and 195 (ASME B31.4)
Familiarity with both CAD Mapping and GIS Mapping a plus but not required
FERC experience a plus but not required.
CO2 experience a plus but not required.
Pipeline conversion in service experience a plus but required
Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited college/university required
FE (EIT) is preferred
Five plus years pipeline engineering experience
Ability to work with engineering software packages a plus
Microsoft Office experience required
