The Undersea Systems group is responsible for concept design, development and execution of programs and projects to integrate advanced systems and payloads on submarines and other platforms. The candidate will participate in the development and integration of advanced mechanical systems related to maritime applications including submarine systems and sub-sea warfare systems. The preferred candidate will demonstrate a willingness to learn about a variety of submarine mechanical systems including launch and recovery components and operations. The candidate will develop experience with the construction and modernization of SSNs including familiarity with submarine specific requirements and with the processes for submarine modernization. The candidate must have excellent written and verbal communications skills and ability to work with both government and industry teams to achieve project objectives.
