External Job Description:

The Summer Associate will be working in the General Counsel’s office located in Washington, DC. The Summer Associate will be working under the Vice President and Chief Counsel of HII Technical Solutions and other attorneys within the company’s law department.

Work hours are flexible within the defined work week which is 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

The Summer Associate can expect to be tasked to prepare legal memoranda on a wide range of topics related to Government contracting, compliance, the Civil False Claims Act, and Government ethics issues. The Summer Associate will also support internal investigations and employment and other litigation. The Summer Associate will participate in training, client meetings, and other department operational meetings. At the end of the summer, we hope that the Summer Associate will have a good feel for the duties of an in-house counsel at a publicly traded company.
